Our Community Support department provides an information and advice service to older people living in Stafford Borough, their families and carers.
We offer a friendly service where you can get information and advice on subjects ranging from benefits, utilities, pensions, wills and powers of attorney, dementia support, housing and many other topics. Our experienced team is trained to give you advice and have access to many agencies, leaflets and forms to help you. We also have the ability and know-how to fill in those all important, but often confusing, forms for you.
Advice can be given on our dedicated information line (01785 245484), by visiting our Signpost centres in Stafford, or by email signpost@cafe-connect.org.uk . We have centres at Café Connect, Bradbury House, Weston Road, Stafford and the Café Connect, David Jones Centre, Stone Road, Stafford where you will find an informal, friendly setting where you can have a drink or snack while browsing on the internet. Surgeries, events and other activities are regularly held in the cafes – see the dedicated Café Connect page for further information. Café Connect is a new service that is available to all the community, whatever their age.
We are also proud to announce the opening of our new Therapy Room at Bradbury House which will provide hairdressing, beauty therapy, hand and foot massage and aromatherapy. This service is aiming to be accessible and affordable to all, whatever your circumstances.
